Apple Crumble

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. cooking apples
  • 125g SR flour
  • 85g margarine
  • 85g sugar
 
 

Method

Peel and slice apples. Place in pan and simmer for a few minutes but keep apple as slices. Put the stewed apples into an oven proof dish .

Prepare crumble. Put flour and margarine in a baking bowl and gently rub margarine into the flour and then add sugar and mix.

Spread the crumble mix over the apples and cook in a preheated ove for 40 - 45 minutes. Electricity 170 degrees C or Gas mark 5. Check with skewer that crumble is cooked.

Serve with custard and enjoy
